About
Howdy! I’m Lili!
My name is Lili Faruki, and I’ve been working in Editing since I was a Junior in High School, The same year that I made my first short film for the STN Horror-fest.
I’ve come a long way since then, I’ve worked with RE:IMAGINE in their year-long Post Production Apprenticeship where I honed my ability with Premiere Pro and learned about standards in the studio like File Organization and Communicating to other roles.
I’m also a part of RE:IMAGINE’s Journalism Cohort, where we produced, filmed, wrote, and publish our own news story with the help of two former CNN Journalists, Nick Valencia and Paul Ferguson.
I’ve worked on Social Media projects like MineShoku Tensei, an indie game development studio working on a Minecraft Plugin-Based server recreating the anime Mushoku Tensei in a video game format! I’m their head of communications and work on Blender-Based Spoilers as well as managing their social media accounts.
Before I got into Film though, I programmed in my school’s Game Development team, and did a plethora of personal projects surrounding computer science, I got Unity Certified, am a two time Honorable Mention for NCWIT’s Computing High School awards, and was Secretary of my school’s Game Development Club, and the Computer Science National Honors Society.
